Here is my entry. It isn't exactly spectacular in-and-of itself, but the significance is that this is the silhouette of the statue of General Jackson at the actual battlefield of Manassas, that I took in July, when I was there for the 150th anniversary re-enactment I was able to participate in.
"There stands Jackson like a stone wall....." |
Wow. I like it. A lot. Mind if I steal it and play with it a little?
ReplyDeleteSure, it don't bug me a bit.
DeleteI already messed with the contrast and such, but there isn't much to the picture to mess with. I did all of it in the few minutes you sat and talked with my mom last night (or right after).
So, I probably could have done more, but it was 11:30 and time to hit the sack.
Have fun!
Very nice, David! I love General Jackson :)
ReplyDeleteI may have to pass this on to my little sis...she's a photographer of sorts :)
ReplyDeleteStonewall Jackson! He's one of my greatest heroes! (Right up there with our beloved Gen. Lee.)The man was a military genius besides being a strong Christian we all ought to want to emulate.
Great shot there, David.
ReplyDeleteBully for General Jackson!
Stand Fast,
Andrew R.
Love that battlefield David! I wish I could have been down to that enactment :( Not as involved in it as much anymore. Growing up takes up wayyyyyy toooo much time for my preference... Lol, its for our own good I think though ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!
